Daniel practices in the areas of taxation, estate planning and business law. He advises clients on various taxation issues that arise during the life of a business, focusing on corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions. His estate planning practice revolves around complex wills, family trusts and estate administration.
Prior to joining Robins Appleby in 2015, Daniel worked as a summer and articling student in the Toronto office of a national firm. While completing his summer and articling rotations, he assisted with a variety of corporate and litigation matters, focusing specifically on private company mergers and acquisitions.
Daniel received his J.D. from the University of Toronto and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015. In addition to studying law at the University of Toronto and Philosophy at Western University, Daniel completed a semester abroad at the University of Amsterdam.
Daniel is actively involved in the community and volunteers his time with local and global charitable initiatives. He is an avid traveler and his past experiences include working with Habitat for Humanity in Malaysia, trekking the Salkentay Trail to Machu Picchu, and training with Muay Thai instructors in Thailand.
Daniel is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
