Bio
Justin has over 30 years of broad professional experience in the area of Information Technology with a particular emphasis on the Legal industry. Justin sits on the IT committee and is an integral part of the team. He manages the firm’s IT strategy and is responsible for the development of budgets and maintenance of our IT vendor relationships. His varied business background and experience serves him and the firm well when negotiating vendor contracts and service level agreements. Justin is a trusted member of our senior management team and has a balanced blend of business knowledge, people skills and IT subject matter expertise.
In addition to his senior role on the IT committee, Justin manages all of the IT operations at Robins Appleby and is committed to mentoring his team and providing them with growth opportunities. He leads by example, patiently and methodically working with stakeholders and vendor partners to resolve technical challenges, and to proactively initiate change through consultation and critical analysis.
Working with his team, Justin maintains high standards with an emphasis on compliance and cybersecurity. He is focused on optimizing our technology while remaining fiscally responsible and maintaining the security of firm and client data.
Before joining Robins Appleby, Justin held various IT roles in the Finance and Legal Industries, working in London, UK, Silicon Valley, and then, after travelling around the world, settling down in Toronto.
