Thomas is an associate at Robins Appleby LLP and advises clients on all areas of taxation law, including tax matters arising in corporate transactions, estate and family business succession planning, post-mortem planning and dispute resolution.
Before joining Robins Appleby as an associate, Thomas was both a summer and articling student at the firm and assisted in all of the firm’s practice areas.
Thomas attended law school at the University of Ottawa, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Thomas was an Assistant Editor for the Ottawa Law Review and a Dispute Resolution Practicum teaching assistant. Thomas also undertook directed research projects and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals. Prior to law school, Thomas received his Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University.
Outside of the office, Thomas is an avid golfer and Toronto sports fan.
