Darrell M. Gold represented the Toronto Economic Development Corporation (TEDCO), the City of Toronto's redevelopment arm, as co-counsel, on the negotiation of a 99 year lease and related agreements with Toronto Film Studios Inc. and its parent, the The Rose Corporation, for the development of Canada's largest film studio on up to 45 acres of the City's Port Lands. The project will include North America's largest purpose-built sound stage (approx. 45,000 sq.ft) for the production of blockbuster feature films.
