Pia is a passionate advocate and has earned a reputation for being both diligent and highly knowledgeable about all things relating to estates, guardianship and trusts disputes. Pia enjoys working closely with clients to achieve the best possible outcomes for them. She is known for being both empathetic and practical in working with clients towards resolutions.

As a Partner in our Litigation and Dispute Resolutions group, Pia focuses on estate, trust and guardianship litigation, including will challenges, will interpretation, passing of accounts applications, dependent’s support claims, power of attorney disputes, guardianship disputes, various trust litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation advocacy. 

Pia earned a Masters of Law in Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2021. Pia acts as a mediator, in addition to being an advocate, on estates, trusts and guardianship disputes.Her subject matter expertise and collaborative approach to dispute resolution makes her uniquely suited to resolving disputes in this area of law.

Pia works to resolve disputes most cost-effectively and has a great deal of experience resolving disputes at mediation. She also has extensive litigation experience, including work on major trials and arbitrations, and has made countless appearances in the Superior Court of Justice.

Pia’s expertise has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada since 2020. Pia has also been recognized by Lexpert for as a prominent practitioner in estates and trusts litigation since 2020.

Earlier in her career, Pia practiced family law, estates and civil litigation. As a result of her experience practicing family law, Pia brings a unique perspective on the impact of family law issues on estates matters.

Outside of the office, Pia enjoys travelling, reading and spending time with her family and friends. Pia is a passionate sports fan – especially rugby and the Toronto Blue Jays.
